2013 Texas Tour "Laura New Myers 'Revived'!"

For this run through Texas I ditched the Live in conversion van and worked with two assistants/interns Jesse New and “Eye am JADE” We were able to explore the the wonderful website couchsurfing.org for our travel across the state. we arranged convenient accommodations and delighted in social intercourse with all different sorts of interesting people each with so very different perspectives !.

Our Tour officially began in Dallas with a private shoot with the avid Evelyn Murphy. The shot below came about near the end when I noticed her charming arrangement on her Restroom counter.

After that I prepared for my little production for F-STOP Workshops with Duke and the gang. It was quite a treat to be invited to hold the shoot at the very respectable Gerard Goh’s establishment “Allied Stone Granite Counter tops Dallas” We had access to the most beautiful and unique yet still rich and luxurious backdrops and locations.

Wrapping up Dallas we ended with a private booking with the wickedly graceful Gracefully wicked’s one and only Grace hill and her fun quirky man/assistant. We pulled together some fierce high fashion/artistic imagery and I look forward to seeing the final publication…

We hit to road to Austin and settled in at our Couch surfing hosts lovely abode. She was sweet as could be and her children were simply darling:

Next we prepared for our Austin Charade with Tim of Exquisite Photography. He was so delightful, accommodating, and refreshingly and respectfully engaging. He Baked the most delicious cookies and developed a creative and welcome/non-intimidating environment.

Last stop Houston Texas to my private bookings with repeat clients Natasha Epperson and Billy Bui.

Natasha Epperson:* went home with pounds of skittles*

Billy Bui: *got to give a cello a go! *

We had a couple days to spare so we enjoyed the company of our Couch host in Houston. We attended a small meetup with other Couchesurfing participants at a Korean BBQ restaurant. The food was beyond delicious!

The next night we were able to try Cow Tongue for the 1st time at a cute little permanent trailer restaurant at wee hours: *Cheers*

Our last day on our way out we shot with Fidel -known as Thadeus on mm- and is lovely ever sweet wife and assistant:

The Tour ended very successfully!!!

I am currently planning my Florida Tour and look forward to all the journeys that may unveil and wonderful people to enjoy!

I remain victim to my nurturing tendencies and fool to my fixation with love, an affection of ample supply, an abundance which may easily assume futile in such excess on account of the contemptible pestilence which I so readily , so frivolously award with no recognition and even more so no compensation… how could one anticipate any other outcome?
I am well aware of the name I have earned by the mass of conventional swine and equally so I remain aloof. They spit “ignorant” so pretentiously and pickle in the glory of thier “worldly knowledge”, and in fact to thier imprudence, they marvel at thier common eye for such “dextireous” abilities to characterize me with my sovereign feature which they assume.
but pride is a stubborn curruption which canot be reasoned with an most certainly cannot be interrigated along with his dear sister “Jelousy”. Together they govern bitter sweet ever strong in the minds of the weak.

begrudging apprehension

Why does illness flow so naturally through my veins, pulsing in my head like a ripening tumor? Why does my soul so openly welcome such foul stirs, bearing their expectation and coating me so effortlessly with midnights misfortune?

It taints all that I am and like animalistic impulse I attempt to gnaw away at this disease which is me……nails down to a nub…..fingers raw with pain. But it is nothing to compare… Nothing to compare to such lack of feeling.

To be so numb is to be inhumane and though I cringe with an awkward forced gulp like the backbite of sour aged whiskey….my disgust is so easily forgotten as its intoxicating embrace takes hold of me… but soon left again with this ever so familiar absence, I deeply, obsessively, secretly though not discretely yearn for such fickle things I know nothing of…. but so much about.

With time these yearnings ferment into an enthralling hatred which consumes my thoughts and weakens my stomach with begrudging apprehension.
